In 2000, Deven Parekh joined Insight Venture Partners and he performs analysis on social media startups to discover potential opportunities for investment. He works in concert with late-stage and expansion data-enabled, internet, and software entities to help them in growing their businesses.

Deven Parekh concentrates on the internet and software verticals and he targets ground breaking organizations. He works to understand fully the markets in which they operate to help them optimize revenue as well as profits.

He and the Insight team take part in diverse types of investing. This includes pre-IPO rounds, take privates, M&A strategies, buyouts, recapitalizations, carve outs, and growth equity. Insight currently has a capital base of approximately $3 billion.
