The FCC’s Technical Advisory Council includes a varied range of leading technical experts. They help to provide the technical expertise the FCC needs to identify important areas of innovation and develop informed technology policies supporting the U.S.’s competitiveness in the world economy.

This Council is helping the FCC to continue to promote the advancement of ideas and recommendations in the National Broadband Plan. This includes how broadband communications can be part of the solution for the cost containment and delivery of health care, for energy and environmental conservation, for innovation in education, and in the creation of jobs.
